He is a rescue dog and that was his name when we got him and the name he responded to from day one. I wasn’t about to change it.Wait a minute. You named a dog terrorized by thunder, "Sparky"?
I'm sorry but that made me laugh!~It's what they do!And mine just got into the garbage when I went to the store. Bad Dodgey

I had a Rottie that was given to us by a family that was breaking up. It's a long story... Great dog etc.Poor Sparky, he is terrorized by thunder and fireworks and we are getting a bunch of storms tonight. He would climb into my pocket and hide if he could. Best I can do is show him that I am calm and reassure him that it’s all OK. He is stuck to me like glue tonight.

Dog, Wife, Kid....selective rule followers for sureOh they listen. They just ignore you and go right on doing what they want.
That's how it works at my place. I claim to have trained the dogs, but they've trained me.
Car pics are "Hammerhead". Recliner pic is his brother "Tank"

Here’s our rescue Lucy. The wife picked her but Lucy is a daddy’s girl. Too bad that she doesn’t like riding in cars or she would get more shared time. She’s loves getting dressed up.
She met Clyde at the FABO/FBBO Picnic, but he wasn’t too impressed with her. That’s too bad Jim. Clyde lucked out and got a great new momma and poppa!
I'm gonna guess that dog knows how to guilt you into sharing. They're all Foodies!
Hope the yogi gets better soon. My dodgey been irate at everything when I take him out too.I'm glad to see so many post their pets . Well things got interesting after my initial post , my dog was healing from major ear surgery and I thought he was doing good . My son and his wife came over to see Yogi but I was quick to learn he wasn't ready to meet people as he tried to attack them which was a big surprise since he seemed so laid back . Yogi was even growling at the neighbors for being outside so I wasn't sure if he was staying or not . The healing progressed and things seemed to be better when we got a call from the vet letting us know Yogi needed some injections 3 times a day for 5 days for his other ear infection , so we dropped him off to be boarded and medicine administered . We pick him up tomorrow and all reports are he is social with other dogs and has no problem meeting new people . My wife and I discussed whether we should maybe not continue this but the big question was if we don't care for Yogi who will . Yogi is definitely extra effort but in the end I think he will be great addition to our home . More to come
