running it in the garage as air lines off the compressor. It said it has a 600 PSI and I just bought a new compressor and system for paint. I have a few friends that are running it and they like it. what are you guys running.
Having witnessed a PVC failure first hand in a shop I worked in, I will not use it for air line. The shop I worked in had added some square footage and ran 2 Schd 40 PVC as a temp. air line. The line failed at a coupling, a fellow working at a bench received a laceration on the top of his of his skull about 6 inches long that went to the bone. Bled like a stuck hog the rest of the pieces took out two eight foot light fixtures, not just knocking them down but breaking them beyond use. The only thing the investigation could come up with for the failure was an unseen weak spot in the pipe. This pipe did not come apart it exploded. All that damage at 100 PSI,http://viglink.pgpartner.com/rd.php...eativeASIN=B00F6AVCWO&st=feed&mt=~~~~~~~~n~~~ I might use it in a pinch, but not for long and not as a main run.

if you do, use sch. 80 for the pipe and fittings, keep them out of direct sunlight, keep pressure off when not using, keep the pressure 100 or below. been using it for yrs. , no problem. use a flex connection on the compressor-" no movement on the lines!--bobI ran 1" schd 80 pvc overhead, out of harms way. It is expensive but it is light weight. All the drops are 1/2" iron.
ain`t sure I`d run pvc on that comp.! mine is a 32 gall., and i keep the lines reg down to about 95-100 at most------bobI have had PVC on my system probably for close to ten years. I don't use it that often, but after reading all the info on it from here, I shudder every time I bust it off........especially since I plumbed my big compressor in at 175 PSI. As soon as I can afford some black iron pipe, that's what's goin in.
I decided to go with heavy duty hose reel then can use a smaller whip for air guns and etc
