275/60/15's .. shifted well, only issue was the 5th to 4th. The owner said sometimes little hard to find 4th, he said he thought it was in the linkage which is new also.. I down shifted several times and had no issues. It sounded fairly quiet and had no problems when I pushed it a bit and shifted a little quicker than normal.
Car has an issue with oil pressure. It's between 30/40 lbs. When you >accelerate< it dropped to 30 from 40 and fluctuates. Car has been laid up for a year because the owners been sick. We got it running for the first time in a year. The guy said it was never an issue as it had usually ran 60/80 lbs. before he put it away. He is going to take it in and check if it's the gauge or see what's up. Guy is just recovering from knee surgery and not doing well so maybe next week, I'll have the answer to the oil problem..Hope it's just the gauge or a ground.
