I don't hang out with any of them though.
Just a few from down there once in awhile.

Mine would be out of the question in that I have black interior and no AC
 
Bah...its not so bad if you roll the window down and keep movin' :lol:

I went without a/c in my daily for a couple summers. Well, daily may not be the right word...only put 4 or 5 thousand miles on it a year, soooo....:elmer:

Really, its not as horrible as it seems. Stay hydrated and its do-able.
 
Anyone going up to Prescott next weekend for that Watson Lake Car Show? Might just take a drive up on Saturday to check it out. Something different

With the molten asphalt now cooling off... I'll be out with my 65 'cuda more... Had a hell of a time getting it started about 2 weeks ago... Turned out it was a Senior Thing... Forgot I had my coil wire "unplugged"...⚓
 
We will be finally moved down to AZ by this weekend. Should be out at many local events soon. Hope to meet some new friends!

What's going on with that, and what do you need help with?
I have kind of been looking for something to do to get out of here for awhile, and might even make it down to one of the Wednesday events since it's not so damn hot now.
Plus I like driving at night. :D

What type of HELP do you need??? Someone to come over and give you a hand or what else?
 
I pulled the engine out earlier this year to clean change freeze plugs and paint, as well as paint the engine bay. I think I was more focused on getting the air conditioning unit out of the way and didn't pay attention to where everything came off from. I have a pulley that I'm not sure where it's supposed to go although I think I have it, but when I change the water pump out and took the bolts from the holes they were in and put them into the new water pump in the same holes there too long. I didn't want to continue going any further because I can't seem to find the proper documentation on it even though I have a 900 page PDF downloaded on the original shop manual, I just kept getting the impression that I was missing something and I don't want to put this thing back together without it being proper. I'm sure it is quite conceivable that I just need to get bolts that are half inch shorter and call it good comma and after that all I really need to do is run the fuel line from the pump to the carburetor, run the vacuum lines, and then get my Dash electrical working. I have no doubt that it would probably take me a good weekend to get this up and running and back on the road and able to be driven. My downside is I know a lot of people that work on GM stuff, but this is my first Mopar so I am a little blind

I have some good documentation, (by the way, what year is it) I have electrical prints for most cars 68 to 71. If you are interested, I am retired and want something to do. I can bring down my 71 duster with a 318 and my documents. This way you may be able to look at my 318 for comparison.

ps I rewired my car. I used my own wire rather than getting a pre-made loom. I am confident that I could not do the dash again in only one weekend

It's possible that the reason the bolts seem too long is because the brackets that went between the bolt heads and water pump housing are not on there.
Did that once myself, and when I cut the bolt shorter I realized that a bracket went there and then the bolt was short.
Luckily I had extras.
 
Just realized that it is Friday. I may drive Natalie out to 67th and Bell tonite or tomorrow

Dave, That is a awful long drive to just sit there and not know anyone there. I think I will pass. I went to 67th and Bell last Saturday eve.
All these shows are disappointing to me

We're planning to go to the Pavilions for Mopar Night this coming Saturday. Hoping to see a few friends....:)
 
Yes we headed down to Westgate. Not a huge turnout but several nice cars showed up. Might try to find a cruise for this weekend at night.

Once again, I drove down to the Pavillions and found that the available parking spaces in the Mopar row were all being saved for some phantom friend of someone, After driving around for about 15 minutes I decided to drive home. As I drove out each and every one of the saved spaces were still being saved, for some phantom friend Usually by a lawn chair.
As I can not spend too much time in the sun, I need to get there at sundown or shortly before sundown.
This happens in about 90% of the times I drive down there. ( it is not a short drive)
I think this was my last time driving to the Pavillions on Saturday evenings
 
^ ^ ^ I'm not sure what time you arrived, but we got there around 4:30 & pulled right into a spot in the Mopar row. It's my understanding that spots are only allowed to be saved until about 4pm.

Next time, why don't you find us & ask for help to get a spot instead of complaining about EVERY show you've attended! It's getting old......RANT OVER :drama: :rolleyes:
 
On the road heading back to Arizona. Been a long two weeks but enjoyed seeing old friends. I have a lot of car **** pics I'll post in a road trip thread. Would of like to see that 70 Swinger, my favorite car
