That is not it. someone may report me for automotive abuse. Similar to domestic abuse. Same thing as I seem to spend more time with the Duster than my wife

We might be heading down to West World next weekend for the Good Guys event. I'll be looking for your sweet GTS!Ok Arizona FABO members, who's doing the Good Guys next weekend. I entered last month. My plan is to pick up my credentials on Thursday, do the swap on Friday and the car show on Saturday. After the days events I'll head over to the Pavillions for a bit. If you happen to make it stop by and say hi. I'll be sitting with a couple of Moparts members. Hey COdartman, bring that beautiful 70 340 Swinger on down.
Here's a cool sounding event for next Saturday, Dec 10th. I'll be watching some burnouts from the stands

SABOTAGED
I have been having problems with the car when just started. I figured it was the electric choke, but was more concerned about getting the body work done first.
Yesterday, the car had problems starting, seemed flooded. I opened the hood to check on the choke and found a couple problems.
Seems my car was SABOTAGED (no I am not kidding)
Not really sure when or by who. Near as I can remember the very last time the car was not totally in my control was the last car show I went to. Hood up, Hood lights on and I am not with the car. I am over getting a t-shirt.
Again, this is the ONLY time the car was not in my control.
Someone pulled the gas tank vent off the back of the air filter and attached it to the choke nipple on the Edelbrock 1406 carb. Does not sound like much, but that accounts for ALL the problems I have had the last month or so.
So from now on, I will never leave the car unattended when the hood is up. If I need to leave the car, the hood goes down. Period, End of discussion
Reminds me I want to put hood pins on it
Hard to imagine someone could get away with screwing with someone's car at a show without someone calling them on it.
Then again...Maybe you were sleep screwing up.
You would think so. But it takes less than 10 seconds(maybe 5) to pull the hose and slide it on the carb. If you lean over the right side fender to "look at something" you would be pretty well hidden to do this. Hell, maybe it was done while I was standing there looking at something else.
When I opened the hood to look for a problem, I immediately spotted this. This is NOT a mistake that I would make. Granted, I can make a lot of mistakes, and I do. BUT NOT THIS ONE
There is the possibility, as it is so obvious, that it was intended as a joke. Knowing I would spot it fast. But it is not a joke on a car I worked the last 42 months, working on most every day
If I had a REALLY GOOD friend do that as a joke he might live through it.
