Well.... Getting my cuda ready last night... Cut my arm and had a large leak... But, survived the night and the cuda fired right up and I'm at Dunkies (DD) right now kicking back hoping I would see a few local Mopar peeps on this page going.... Guess I'll be the lone FABO member there ???? ⚓

That is what I am famous for. Injuries. How many stitches did you need?
I could still be there next Saturday. If you want a bunch. Give them more than a few hours notice
 
I am looking for a air compressor pump. My 21 gallon 2.5 hp compressor pump froze up on me. I was able to free it up after a lot of banging, but it does not seem to want to hold pressure.

If anyone has a compressor pump or air compressor about that size that wants to get rid of it, I would be interested. I plan to cannibalize it for parts or cobble together another compressor out of the parts I have.

I did not post this in a wanted forum, for a simple reason. If it is not local, the shipping charges would be cost prohibitive

I know Good Guys is in town. But is anyone going to be at the 67th ave and Bell Road show tonite.
I imagine the Pavilions will be a madhouse.
I am planning on going to 67th ave and Bell Road tonite, who else?
 
Went Saturday. Bought two metal cans for the shop. Buddy of mine went Friday and scored big time. Bought some 340 manifolds, and a bunch of Mopar stuff for $50.
 
It's Mopar Night @ the Pavilions this coming Saturday March 18th. Hope to see a few of you there....:steering:

Swap meet at the GCC this Saturday and Sunday.
Yeah, yeah....I know...its put on by the chevy guys...but its still an automotive swapmeet!

Question for y'all. Early 70s Dusters.
How many do you know about?
A few years back I spoke with a guy, with a beautiful while 340. at the O'Reilly's a few blocks north of Bell Rd on Tatum.
About the same time I saw a very young man in a 70 or 71 dark blue Duster in a wreck at Tatum and Thunderbird road.

Other than mine, those are the only two I have seen. I have not seen any at the shows, Though I do not look very hard

Off topic:
A couple Gypsies stopped in front of my house wanting to look at my car. Sure, I am a nice guy.
Long story short, they only wanted to buy it,(so they could flip it tomorrow) I told them it wasn't for sale. But they insisted I give them a price. I told them that even if they showed me $35K cash I would tell them it was not enough.

Of course that is when they became less friendly,. "You want 3 times what it is worth. What did you paint it with, Rustoleam?" I told them that there are not that many Dusters this age out there.
They told me they see them all the time.
That got me to thinking and asking this question
 
Is the car show on 67th Ave and Bell road on Friday and Saturday nights, Or just Saturdays
 
OK....its almost the third saturday of the month again...and its going to start getting warm before too much longer...

Had to fix a flat on the wagon...seems tires dont last 20 years anymore without just going flat for no apparent reason :lol: but she's in decent shape for the run to the pavillions...

Demon work has been slightly delayed...due to damn needy customers wanting crates of parts shipped and 50 year old cast iron bathroom drains that decided to crack and leak. Good thing they were in the garage ceiling, huh?:rofl:
Gonna find where she hides that honey-do list and tear it to shreds...:poke:

Not sure on exact location. Time is set for 1:30pm. According to the calendar it's the 3rdSaturday of the month so is it Mopar nite?

Let's get a head count

got a guy coming to buy/pick up car sat am (hopefully early)
chopping up another F body....OK, two :)
Wagon should be good to go to Pavillions in the afternoon.

It sounded like they were talking about 67th and Bell, rather than the pavilions
 
Ok, here goes. Meet at 1:30pm. Given that it's suppose to be Mopar day there we will be parked along the north end of the Pavillions lot. Look for my yellow 68 GTS or a green 67 Belvedere I. We plan on going over to the Barios Pizza for lunch. Afterwards we'll gather back at the cars and head over to Mixteca at 67th and Bell. Be kinda cool if we cruise over together but to each his own. If you get there after 1:30 we'll be over at the pizza place. Well try and stand out.
