Auto To 4 Speed Swap Thread! A full write up including prices!

I drilled mine. I have a chromoly bushing that I tap into the crank with a hole in the middle that is the correct size to run the drill through to drill the crank straight. Once I am done drilling I pull the steel bushing out with a pilot bearing puller and install a factory pilot bushing. Cast cranks drill like wood! Steel cranks take more patients.

Did you drill the crank with it in the motor?

Do you still need a Flywheel and Bolts....
PM Me if you still need one.
I removed one from my 273 Motor when replaceing it with a new 360 Motor.

Seeling for Cheap price...

posting for future reference...and of course....are there any updates??

Turbodart68, I may have to drill my cast crank for a 4 speed. Can you please post a pic of that tool you used? what drill bit did ya use? I might try to drill my crank with the engine together as well...I already rebuilt the sucker. lol

I dont have any pictures of my bushing and I dont remember which drill bit I used. Its really simple to do. If you use the Jeep or late model pilot bearing you can just roughly drill the crank since the pilot bushing is pressed into the converter hub hole.
