Thank a democr.... I mean communist traitor. It's funny cuz of all the steering wheels I've bought were like... you know.. less than 80 bucks..so a jump to 399.99 is startling and to not be the right color.
I'll find one.

I guess that's a "NO" on a forum discount. lolWe offer a full spectrum of radiators... We have copper/brass and aluminum, US-made and imported. But like any other product we sell, if we see a high defect-rate, we'll stop selling the product until the issues are resolved. Or we drop the product line altogether. It's not in our interest or the interest of our customers to sell bad products.
Usually parts don't get added to the catalogs unless they are either in stock or approved for production. I'm not sure what the situation is/was with those headlight bezels. Sorry for any delay that caused you.Hey CI, stop listing parts in the catalog as coming soon when you know they wont be available for a couple years or more.
I got tired of waiting for 73 dart headlight bezels so I shelled out for a pair of NOS ones.
I'll have to circle back to you on that. We can do a discount, but I'll have to see if we have any other promotions on the horizon so it doesn't conflict with our other deals.I guess that's a "NO" on a forum discount. lol
What? Are you Jen Psaki? Gosh I hope not. She's one fugly beeotch. Circle back. Really <snort> that was a goodun.I'll have to circle back to you on that. We can do a discount, but I'll have to see if we have any other promotions on the horizon so it doesn't conflict with our other deals.

It's ok. You can say "Let's go Brandon".
Sorry about the long wait time. Would you mind sending a DM with your order details so I can see why there was a delay in processing your refund? We are not behind in returns processing, so this should not have been the case.If buying early A body hood insulation clips, don't by from Classic Industries. DMT's are cheaper, and they actually work. Classic Industries don't. As for them, nothing has changed. They do a decent job getting you what you order in a timely fashion, but if you ever need to return something or other CS forget it. I held for 40 minutes after choosing the option to get an RMA number, returned the clips, then had to file a dispute with PayPal to get my $39.80 back after two weeks of waiting. Horrible.
Top clip is DMT. Looks better. Cheaper. Clips have play so they slip into the 1/4 inch holes in hood. Classics are more expensive, don't look at good, and break when trying to get them in the holds.

As for the fitment of the clips, do you know which ones you received? We carry hood insulation clips from a couple different manufactures. If there's a fitment issue, we can definitely source them from DMT. We carry a ton of their parts already, so if they have a better product, we'd much rather carry theirs. Please met me know.
Aw..c'mon, man shes doable at last call after one too many bourbon and cokes...What? Are you Jen Psaki? Gosh I hope not. She's one fugly beeotch. Circle back. Really <snort> that was a goodun.
These are MD8049. I explained the issues with them when I finally got through for the RMA number. Invoice 14003275. You received them back on 11/18 I believe. I received the refund today via a PayPal resolution in my favor. Would be nice if you just issued the refund when you receive the product instead of making a customer jump through hoops to get it. As for DMT, at $1.25 each versus $1.95 each for yours, these work perfectly and look nicer. DMT number. CHR6001798. Thanks!
If you’re buying an item for a “restoration”, and the part is offered as a restoration part, it should be a correct part for a restoration. To offer it as such, then send a part that doesn’t match the intent of the restoration part, then yes, it’s a big deal. I can call Rick Gorski and get exact restoration wires for my car, and I have and pay the price for that, or I can get a box of blue wires from him for $25 that do the same job, but are not restoration correct. Don’t advertise that you have restoration parts if they are not correct, and train your employees to do more than just send out the box, whatever is in it.I feel for OP, but I have a hard time getting hard about spark plug boot colors.
@ClassicIndustries3 I'm very disappointed in the quality of some of the parts that I received. The grille itself was nice and installation was straight forward. The problem was with the sockets and bulbs for the turn signals. Cheap Chinese crap! The bulbs only had one of the two pieces sticking out which guide and lock the bulb into the socket. I thought, OK I'll run to the store and get some good Sylvania bulbs. Wrong! When I plugged the new bulbs into the new sockets, they were still extremely loose and wouldn't light up properly. We'd get one side to work and then install it in the grille only to find that it wouldn't work once installed. Wiggle the wires a little and the turn signal started working. Very poor tolerances left the new bulbs wiggling and giggling inside the socket. We have them working for now, but if they go out again, I'll be looking for new sockets and hopefully will be able to find some that aren't made in China.I spent $1000 on Saturday with @ClassicIndustries3 and my parts will be here on Friday.
Some yaers ago, I bought a set of trans cooler lines from them, one side was bent backwards!> I used one side and the other old side line. They were dicks about the whole clusterf***/ Last time I bought anything from them.I’ll keep saying this, the parts the sell do not fit, and are of cheap quality me and two friends bought their high dollar radiators, besides drilling the holes to fit correctly less than six months they all leaked, all of ours. Took it to my radiator guy been doing radiators since the 1970s tells me the radiator is junk and only for a garage queen at best.
then I buy some brake lines guess what they do not fit correctly, then my buddy buys some automatic transmisson lines for his car, I tell him don’t waste your time, guess what he wasted a shitload of time cause they didn’t fit correctly.
that being said I’m pretty sure there’s stuff that they do sell that works and fit okay, but in my experiences they didn’t
Rant :
Agree the copper/brass radiators have been problematic. (Made by US Radiator - confirmed with them)
My first radiator leaked after 6 months or so. Classic Industries had me get it repaired at a local radiator shop and reimbursed me. Leaked again a short time later.
Sent it back to Classic Industries. Was told as soon as they received it, they would send out a new one.
They did not. I kept calling and calling with no luck (months of not being able to drive my car). I would not have had a problem with this, BUT THEY KEPT LYING TO ME THAT THE NEW RADIATOR WAS ON IT'S WAY. Called US Radiator and they confirmed they will only build radiators in batches after there are enough orders.
2nd radiator leaked just after a year. Called Classic Industries and was told it was not under warranty and they would not replace it.
Took it to a local radiator shop and paid another $175, on top of the $400+ I originally spent, to have an almost brand new radiator repaired.
This shop pulled it apart and re-soldered the top tank (where ALL the leaks were happening). So far so good on the repair...
