Barracuda 'vert pics!

I got my bumpers from Tri-City plating out of Tennessee! They're always at the Nats and easy to deal with! I call ahead and have them bring bumpers for me, and save all my cores and turn them in to knock the price down!! These bumpers were free, I turned in 20 cores in exchange for them!!

Not sure I'd call that "free". I sold some cores a few years ago to the guy that runs Mitchell Motor in Georgia for $50/each.

But, by my calculations you gave the guy $1,000 in cores for a pair of bumpers...I hadn't paid anything for my cores, either...

At the time, cores we're going for $35 a piece, and the going rate for 67-9 bumpers was $339 without a core, so we probably called it even on the exchange! He's taken a lot of bumpers from me over the years, it works for us both so I'm good!!!

My 69 Vert. We believe it has 27,000 original miles.

My 69 I bought in January 2016. Finally in the shop on the lift. Getting new leaf springs, all new brake system, adjust the valves for the Slanty 6, pertronix electronic ignition, pressure washed under the bonnet to prep the motor for new paint. Floors are rock solid. Stripes are for a 68. I might pull them off. View attachment 1714934288

My 318 Barracuda vert came home today. It went straight from the body shop to a repair shop for some work on the electrical components on the dash. Still some assembly required and I need to get a new convertible top installed.
Not a fan of the greens offered in 68 and both my 68 318 vert and my 68 340 vert were the same color green. The 318 vert is now surf turquoise metallic. Some day I plan to change the 340 vert to electric blue metallic.

Here is our 1967 Formula S 383 4 speed. Dark blue metallic with light blue interior. Drive it often and enjoy the comments we receive!!

From the 4th of July 2019 Parade. My car is currently having full AMd QTRs and AMD trunk dropoffs installed. My factory color was B7 blue, now it's this color, painted by previous owner.

Just realized that the last time I posted a picture of the turquoise convertible, it was the day it came home from the body shop. After that photo, bumpers went back on, and then new tires and a new top were next. But, I haven't had a chance to get anything else done yet. Too many other projects. Need a front end rebuild before I really drive it much, and I need to get the side windows realigned. The convertible top trim still needs to go on now that I have new clips for attaching the trim. Then a new carpet would complete the project.
