What would be the best converter and flex plate for a 69 dart running a 69 340 with the 727 be. Using mainly as street with limited use on track, Will be running 3.55 on back. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

Need more details on the engine build. That's what mainly determines what stall speed you need. Also what's the tire height?

For example if it's a stock engine and you just want a little more kick use a 2000-2500 stall. If you have a big cam and/or single plane intake you may need a 3000 stall or higher.

I've got a 9.5" dynamic, stalls about 4,400 RPM. 90% street. its a lot of fun !! 360 ci, about 420 hp.

Running a dual pane LD340 intake, cannot say what cam is in it, I guess my next step would be to see if there are any numbers on the front of the cam to identify it. Will be running g60 on back or widest I can go without modifying the springs. Will run 15" all around. The engine is suppose to be stock except for the intake and the 670 holley. Any suggestions?

A 10" S&S converter rated approx. 34-3500 would work great for both with the info you provided. It should have great street manners and good torque multiplication for at the track. A 9.5 converter, on the tight side would work well also. All depends on your driving preferences and future upgrades that might warrant a smaller converter- ie. cam change, head porting etc.

Lenny is the best in the business i would listen to everything he reccomends, and use...:thumbup:
