I got a old Ford truck rearend and I want to have it cut down. The issues is I'm having a bear of a time finding and wheels that will fit the 5 by 5.50 bolt pattern.
Should I just get new axles at 5 by 4.50?

The thing is I want to have the wheels first, then cut the tubs then cut the axle.

So buy new axles is what your saying?

I can get cut to fit 31 spline for like 160

You said you were going to cut it down......at that point you have to buy axles anyways. Right?
buy them in the Mopar pattern

I'm not sure saying Ford is even legal on this forum ? LOL :poke:

I just went ahead and got them in the ford pattern. The wheels I want come in 4.50 and this way the disk kit and everything is ford. Easy to get parts and resell if need be.
Thanks for all the ideas.

I have big ford ends on one of my Dana 60 rears. Great axle bearings and plenty of brake options.
