Dang, you're doing a killer job on the floor pans! I love what you've done with the dash too. Is the shift pattern on the ash tray a sticker, or did you paint it?

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's a Decal from The Gearbox Preservation Society, they make every configuration.
It's White on the Inside...

Hope to have the Whole Floor complete in the next week or two.
The Panels are from AutoBodySpecialties and the one in the back is the Actual Size before I butchered them.

Just One More to Go!
I ran out of Argon today... thought I was done til Tuesday.
So, I switched to .035 Flux-Core. Noone told me it was Faster and Way Easier than Gas Mig!
Gonna have trouble on this Rear Panel tho, the entire Sill under the back of the panel is rotted away even thru the Framerail...
No Seat until I get it done tho So, gonna start on it tomorrow!

The rear floor was covered with a Riveted-In Galvanized Tray...
I didn't know what was beneath.
I'd Pay to see my face when I pulled that tray out.
Not sure how to replace the sill that sits on the frame rail yet.

The Steering Column took a looong time, that 1965 Steering Coupler is No Joke.
I got a long way to go but it's comin' right along.
This started out as a 4-Speed Swap and turned into almost a thousand hours of resto work...
I know every bolt on the car intimately now as I've wire-wheeled and rust reformed every one.
7 1/4" Pinion Seal next week, Drivers Door, Front Body Panels and Windshield then we Roll!
Goal is to Drive it to a Labor Day Car Show in Two Months!

It Drove under its own power today! Everything seems in order...
Now to start making it look like a car again!
Alas, My Custom Seat wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped.
