British WWII vet missing from nursing home found at D-Day events in France

After searching for 12 hours, the home received a call from a younger veteran who had met Jordan on the bus and said he was safe. The two vets were at a hotel in Ouistreham, Normandy, where world leaders and veterans from all over the world were marking the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

looks like this soldier was more committed then some of the aforementioned world leaders

These guys were truly the "Greatest Generation".

It's sad to see how far we've fallen away from this type of patriotic commitment.

Many college kids can't even name the countries we fought against in WWII, nor who was president at the time, or even what took place on "D-Day". What's more, many of the younger teachers today struggle with those same questions. How pathetic have we become?

We have become very pathetic, it's sad and getting worse.

Bang On !!!

I remember as a kid growing up in NY flags flying all the time everywhere.
Now other then mine you might see one other in the neighborhood.

God Help Us,
You think the government is ridiculous now, wait till this illogical, self centered, instant gratification generation assumes power.
It's going to be a real mess!!!
