I have the directions and it refers you to factory specs for the caltracs. The split monoleafs showed up with no directions. I set them to 45. Been that way for 4 years. But I will check and see if I need to do 60. Thank you
Absolutely. The argument I always get is "how can the leaves slide when there is a centering pin"? Simple. The pin simply cuts the springs effectively into a front half and a rear half. The sliding action is at either end, so the center pin has nothing to do with it.People don't believe me when I tell them u bolt torque. The leaves need to be able to slide. Overtightening kills the arch and the "spring" in the spring.

Travis from Cal Tracs specifically told me 60Those specs are for Ford Fairlane’s and Torino’s are they not?
I think I would follow their specs on this. Their torque spec is not light years from the stock Mopar spec. Just like when torquing the stock suspension, I would go back after a short time driving the car and retorque them.
