Trying to get these puppies out so I can work on the brakes. I lost the key to the lug nuts maybe 15 years back where I lived previously. Would love to know which key to buy, so I can avoid destroying these.

thanks in advance
Ryan

p.s. - oops, the title was suppose to say lug nuts and not bolts*

I fixed your title. Looks like 2 different keys needed. Good luck.

You need the keyed socket, good luck with that.

I have a set of those special sockets made to grab and loosen nuts and bolts that are rounded off. The inside of the socket has a series of spirals, and the harder you twist CCW, the tighter the socket grips. Kinda like the way a screw extractor works. Or, here is another thing I have done before, and it works. The lugs look to be a bit tapered. Find a 12 point socket that will fit over the tip of the lug nut and go maybe 1/2 way down the tapered part. Then use a hammer and pound the socket on hard. The socket should stick pretty tightly onto the lug. Then use an impact gun. It usually works. You'll probably sacrifice a socket or two, but if the other option is not getting the lugs off...….
At least your title didn't say, "What kind of nuts do I have?"

Each set of those id different. They came with a special key and a serial number for the key if it was ever lost, because each key is different. You can forget finding a key, unless you "happen" to have that serial number. Best thing to do is get a socket like mentioned above.

You don't mention the year of the car but Chrysler in there wisdom had left and right lug nuts up to I believe 1970. So make sure of what you have.

Take your car to a reputable tire shop. They should have a removal tool to get the lugs off...

BTW...Those look like Gorilla locks to me :)

The tires are older than father time himself. More cracks on these Dunlops than the San Andrea's Fault. I somehow found the keys and will start doing the brakes and such. Thanks all for the help. Sorry for the late response, I have been busy with school.
