Can you help me ID this torque converter?

I want to know what stall I have on my A904 so I can choose an appropriate camshaft

Ok I removed this torque converter it has markings on it painted and stamped 90P
Also stamped on it 12432
9586
A436
No brand name

Only way to know for sure is to have a torque converter shop, open it up and check it.

Might be better off selecting a cam and calling a manufacturer to see what they suggest based on your circumstances

The above is correct, choose camshaft according to what you want the engine to do. Then choose torque converter based on the output of the engine as well as other aspects of the vehicle (gear ratio, weight, use, etc.) you’re going about it basackwards. If your research produces nothing by the numbers, which it likely won’t, assume it is stock and upgrade accordingly.

I agree. That converter looks to be stock that was rebuilt at one time possibly stock.
Pick your cam and then after you pick your cam let the converter company know the specs, axle ratio compression, car weight and what you want to do with it and any other questions they may ask.

That is a 11 3/4 large converter = Very low stall.

That converter looks to be a DOG. read 1200-150- stall. No performance there.
Someone else said decide what you want your motor to do, choose the cam for that, then Pair the converter For all of that. It was good advise
