Hello,
I’m going through some stuff I have here and some of the stuff was given to me awhile ago. I don’t remember the exact application for a few things and was hoping you’d help clear it up.
First are these pushrods. I have several used LA hydraulic flat tappet pushrods picked from different 318s and 360s. They are the ball/ ball design and seem to measure right near 7 1/2”.
I just found a clean set of ball/ball pushrods that measure 6 3/4”.

Is it possible that the shorter pushrods are for the roller cam 318/360 ? A friend gave me stuff years ago when he went to 1.6 adjustable rocker arms and I wonder if these 6 3/4” pushrods are just what I needed for a build I’m planning.
Secondly, I have a box of these:

It is self explanatory that they are replacement rocker arms but I don’t know how to tell the difference between LA versions and the B/RB.

I’d appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks!

If you Google the part numbers you will see the rockers are small block and the push rods are for roller lifter engines

I also have a few timing covers like these:

I know that they switched the water pump design in 1970. Was that the year they moved the timing mark?

Is it fair to state that the Timing mark on the drivers side is 1970 and up?

Timing mark moved the same year as the water pump change because the lower rad hose was blocking it. That timing cover fits 70 up.

'70-77 model timing cover. '69 and earlier have the timing gauge on the passenger side. Starting in '78 the balancer seal could be installed without pulling the cover, otherwise will interchange with the '70-7 cover. There should be an actual date code cast into your cover in case someone wants to match one.
