See if a standard small block flexplate or flywheel will fit on it.Bizarre! This 3.454 stroke crank I have has a 6 bolt rear flange. People kept asking if it was 8. What does that matter?

Many HP MoPar cranks (like the 3.79" stroke) had an 8-bolt Hemi pattern flange for compatibility/strength.
LOL, indeed! Thanks. I don't know squat about these old Chrysler products. I was heavily into vintage Nissan / Datsun stuff. Sold all that and purchased a 68 barracuda. Datsun stuff got way too expensive, so I went to MoPar. Makes sense. LOL.

Actually that makes no sense. As you saying Datsun parts and cars are more expensive than Chrysler stuff??? That sound you hear is my guffaws (but I could be wrong as I’ve never priced Datsun stuff).
Well, you can be the judge of it for yourself. But when a guy is willing to pay $1200 for a Datsun 510 tachometer... I'm out. Or $600 for a 1969-70 Series 1 240z ash tray? No thanks! A few weeks back an acquaintance's 510 wagon sold on Bring a Trailer for over $30,000 ... It was mismatched red panels. I miss the days when you could actually get paid for hauling away a junk Datsun. Or when a Z was about $10K fully restored. Some Z sold for $300K a while back. It's all nonsense. It was far more fun when it was cheap. At least with American stuff it's loud, rumbling and "actually" fast. There's nothing fast about a 1.6L Datsun 510 with a 2 bbl Weber. I actually sold all my Datsun and made about $8,000 on B210 parts. ... Yeah, say that out loud! Eight-thousand dollars on B210 parts. Yikes. Made enough money to buy this Barracuda and still have some left over. Wild world we're living in.
But that's like, my opinion man.
SHEESH! That's about the same level of hipster bait that 1st gen Cummins Rams have devolved into.
Probably exceptional quality and US made also. What's a 391 stroker 318 crank cost? Demand is what it is unless you can find a 355 builder. This is a cheap alternative to make a tiny 318/331 stroker without custom pistons. In a 340 its a...354!
My buddy had a 510 2dr in Washington in about 1991. Carrera suspension, Minilites, SSS motor, dual Webers....we actually went up there (from Orange County!) in my B2000 to tow it home. Got up there and determined we couldnt use the bumper hitch as we planned as the car was too low (and the bumper was super light weight)... we left it up there with his ex wife...AND SHE SOLD IT! OMG.........
It was Yellow with black stripes down at the doors. and it was 31 years ago soo good memory! It was up in Bellingham. Actually it didnt have Webers, but it had dual Hitachi/SU carbs as he had a heck if a time starting it cold. He parked it on a hill and that helped him push start it. something like that. Datsun B-210 ' Honey Bee'? "Manufactured by WEN"? with the honeycomb wheel covers? Those were jokes back in 1985 when I was in High school. But it was a step up from the F10!

I recently purchased a lot of Chrysler parts from a guy who claimed his grandpa was a NASCAR racer. Looks like a have a 355 cu. in. crankshaft for a small block LA. I have another crank that looks just like it that came in the lot i purchased, but I can not confirm its specifications yet.
What do I do with this crank? I really don't have a use for it. What's it worth? Who can use it?

Could they be left overs from the 90's when Dodge ran in the IROC? Those engines were 355 ci and I think they were based on the 318 block. Get out the micrometer and check. They may be a great start for a killer street engine.
Me? IDK what the compression distance is. I never measured anything on this assembly. It is labeled 10.5-1. How that actually fits and what it comes out to be IDK.Low comp 340s...how far they in the hole? Thick Cometic .080 MLS gasket and this crank....?
