Probably go in the garage to get it completely dried out. But plan is to be back outside with a cover. I still want to fix the leak, cause I don’t want to worry every time its out in the rain. I believe its getting in the door seals, or at least the glass seal that is on the body. Noticed the places they joined the rubber were cracking and shrunk back from the corner of the window. Will be contacting Metro. What really sucks is the 40 year old seals never leaked that much. :BangHead: :wtf::soapbox:

I got it I the garage a couple weeks ago. Unbolted the seat and pulled the carpet up. Had a fan blowing under to thoroughly dry it out. looks like the gasket shrunk back from the top front edge of the glass. I will try fixing openings in gaskets and adjusting the windows in the Spring.

For now Cinnamon is back outside with her new dress on. Very nice fit. Comes with 3 straps with snap in buckles. Added 2 bungees underneath using tarp grabbers just inside the tires. Plus a rope across in front of windshield so it can’t move much if wind gets under.

I covered my cinnamon Plymouth up last night. Had it out yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks since we’ve had non stop rain recently.

Heads up I completely ruined the paint on my wife’s Jeep CJ-5 with a custom fit cover outside winter before last.
It fit tight and it rubbed the paint off the hood and fenders.
Last winter it is inside, a friend of ours, she rented us her extra garage for $600 a year.
Money well spent.
Still have not had time to re-paint her Jeep.

My paint job didn't even cost $600. LOL Taking my chances...

Had her out for a cruise just now. Ran great. Window down wearing a t-shirt on Jan 12th. Whoda thunk it?
Nice to just pull the cover and go without feeling like I need to wash it first.:thumbsup:

You should've come up and got mine out for a drive since I couldnt do it today!!
I almost stopped by, but figured you'd be chasin the little white ball in this weather. LOL
Decided to try getting in the Duster 50th anniversary feature this year at Carlisle. So went up to the elementary school's lower lot and took all the pics they want. Then went for a second round of cruising. Forgot to look at start miles, but had to do near 100 miles today.

Nice, it was good talking to you last year at Carlisle.
OK... I must admit I either don't remember or never connected you with your screen name. :( Not entirely surprising since since I totally suck at putting names and faces together and my memory ain't that great to start with. LOL. But what is worse is I knew you would be there and wanted to meet you. :BangHead: Are you going to be there this year?

I am going as far as I know, you were packing up to leave last year, when I talked to you.
I catch up to you this year, I really need to drive my car up.

I did actually accomplish something on 'the build'. The one thing that was still not done... As of Sunday the AC is recharged with R12 and working great! I had a buddy put nitrogen in it last year, but then he had an accident and couldn't walk for a few months. Was planning to do it first thing in the Spring but waited a bit with the covid 19 crap going on. Finally got at it.
The nitrogen had leaked down. Put more in and didn't find anything leaking so after pulling a good vacuum for about half an hour, went ahead and charged it. When closing it up, realized there was a very small leak from both schraders. Luckily he had the tool to change them with the system charged.
