I guess to save on funeral expenses, some are now opting to rent the box rather than paying full price.
I'd have to ask mom, that's what my grandfather got buried in, some 6 years agoWhat ever happened to the plain pine boxes that look like they are built out of skid wood? I wonder how much they would cost in "today's economy"
I just looked up your Costco link. The one thing I cannot figure out is who is sending in the reviews on these caskets? Just a thought.
Just donate to science and be done with it.
You don't need a body or even ashes to remember someone or celebrate their life at a memorial get together.
ZERO expense.
I never understood how spending a bunch of money on a casket and funeral makes people feel they have done something respectful.
58" long? What if your 76" long? Cut your legs off?I did the rental for my Dad's viewing before cremation. I don't recall how much it was, but I assure you it was not cheap. They are not allowed to re-use any of the lining. So, it's made with a removable lining that they change for each use.
Here's a 'cheap' box. DQE Coffin w/Body Bag,58 x 20 x 18 in. - 6CAU4|MC4055 - Grainger
