Cold Case Radiator what fan and shroud are you using ?

soooooo anyone following this......i measured the mount for the fan shroud wrong from original to Cold Case. the original i measured from the top tank, which is thicker then the core on both the CC And original. Measuring from the core and the mount on the CC is wrong....its too close to the motor. The fan blades are too far inside of the shroud now and the car heats up when sitting still now. I'll remove my shroud extension i riveted on and fill the holes with some expoxy and then mount the shroud inside of the CC channel and see how that helps. by my eye...that would but the fan 1/2 in the shroud and 1/2 out. as it is now...its 3/4 in and 1/4 out and that isn't working right. really sucks i measured wrong and went of drilling holes for rivets....and experimenting with an original shroud. these dang things aren't cheap!!

the whole reason i even put the CC in was because the original got the radiator neck smooshed and i could not figure out why i would randomly peak to 200 plus on the highway when driving. it would then cool back down and repeat that same cycle. it would also always empty the overflow tank. i put a new cap on and that sorta helped.....but that smoosh was too much i guess. the CC radiator completely solve that problem.....just gotta get the shroud back on right.
