The 1008 will hold 11 to 1 no problem... (way cheaper..)
The cometic will need a certain smooth finish on the block and the head to work.. Something that's said more on the backside of their right ups than the front side...

I have had issues with the tried and true 1008 on Aluminum
heads with the Iron block.

We now run Cometic but we do let the machinist know that on
Aluminum Heads.

The Cometic gaskets require a veeeeery fine finish to seal.
The 1XXX Felpro series is the high performance version of the std #8553 gasket range & has a s/s steel fire ring.....& is more tolerant of blemishes in the sealing surfaces. This is what I would use....

My factory iron 367LA at 11/1, with OOTB Eddies and no special deck treatment:
was last apart in 2004, so the gaskets are going on 19 years .
I can't even say for sure that the 1008s were new when I installed them, because; prior to 2004, I used to reuse them.
The 1008s have held up to anything I have thrown at them, including up to 195psi.... but I cranked on the ARP headbolts a little
