could use some prayers

My father is 73, was driving a dump truck just last year with us at work. This isn't supposed to be happening, it's pretty hard to handle as I am sure those that have lost a loved one know. I gave him his father's day card yesterday, read it to him and told him I love him and that we will be okay if he needs to go home.

Guys, this is hard. Real hard, just throw some more prayers up that some how God would heal him or call him on home.

This is hard as you say but it could have been much worse for your father, he could have laid in a nursing home for years instead of been driving that dump truck with you last year. Loosing a loved one is hard to do and prayers with blessings are going out for all of you.
 
Heading to my mom and dad's house now, they can't get my father to wake up.

Thank you all. At 3:18 I watched my father get called home. I want to rejoice that all his problems are solved and know I will but right now this sucks.

Just to honor my fathers love for his family I want to share this, I come from a large family 8 of us siblings then all our wives and husbands and children, you can imagine the living room was full. My father never really woke this morning but was still with us then at 3:18 he lifted his head and looked around at us all and tried to speak the best he could then went on home to the Lord.

Even in his weakened state, he summoned his family to his side to say good bye.

It brought him great comfort knowing his loved ones were there with him. When my grandpa passed last November we were all there with him, it was hard but made it better knowing we were all together like that. Sorry for the sad news, may he rest in peace.

:_) nice to hear that he is home instead of suffering. I can't imagine how you feel right now. I'm gonna call my folks just to tell them how much I love them. God and your father are both with you my friend. Do not mourn his death but celebrate his life and all the knowledge and wonderful memories he left with you all.
 
We buried my father today, I want to just say if any of you all do not know Jesus Christ as your savior the time is now. You never know when your time is up, the only thing we are promised in this life is death. With Jesus you have eternal life, all you have to do is believe. If anyone has or needs to talk about it you can post here or pm me, I will help in any way I can. Seriously, please, this is the biggest decision of your lives.
