When I was in HS back in the mid seventies I worked at True Value hardware store. I also held down a second job flipping burgers at McDonald’s. We didn’t have a lot back then and all I wanted for my car was some Cragars. Well that never happened. Turn the clock forward 50 years and I got a set of aluminum cragars for my Satellite. I chose the aluminum ones because I remembered that all the one I saw back then growing up in the midwest were rusting at the spoke rim weld.

The model is a 610 Series C

Unfortunately the center caps are made of plastic. The tabs are not reinforced and thus are fragile at best (great for 3500lbs cars lol).

Since I never had these before I see center caps for sale both used and new on the internet but I don’t know if the metal ones ate compatible in how the mount to the wheel.

Can anyone give me information as to my replacement options for these? No I haven’t called any shops or spoke to the company who deals with them as I have had enough heart but from all the leftovers from New Years lol

The Cragar 09090 S/S cap should fit. It's steel, and held in place with a disc that creates an interference fit on the inside of the wheel hub and is held in place with a screw.
All the pictures below are for Cragar G/T wheels. They're the painted spoke and polished rim version of the S/S, so they're very similar. They're my favorite. I had them on my Road Runner back in 1980.

My spare modern (now discontinued) 610G wheel. G is for grey, as the C is for chrome on your wheels. Your hub should measure 3" here also.

Reverse of vintage cap showing retaining plate and screw. Note the hole in the plate that lines up with the stud on the cap to keep it from turning.

Modern G/T caps. They should have red paint. You'll want S/S because your wheels are chrome.

Awesome! This is exactly the information I needed! Thanks I can now buy with some confidence it will fit. I looked at Cragars web site and Summit and there is an implication these will fit my aluminum wheels.
Thanks again for your help!
