Good morning everyone! So I have my motor in and the swap in the car is going well. I had a complete ax15 setup given to me (I know its not the strongest but this is just a cruiser!) But im concerned about the .060 offset on the crank with the new hemi. The trans was in a dart with a 318chip and was awesome. Can you all give some insight into flywheels and dealing with the crank offset? Thanks!!

I ended up using a the Mopar Performance 130 tooth swap flywheel for mine and it has worked out pretty well. I'm not real familiar with that trans, is it similar to the 833 like using the same bellhousing and flywheel size or anything? I used a stock smallblock bellhousing with my 833 and all I had to do was cut between 5/8 and 3/4" off of the tip of the input shaft. No troubles so far.

Hi, I have behind my 6.1 the Toyota Supra Version. I redrilled the flywheel (instead of buying a conversion flywheel), assambled everything and found out now (like you I guess) that the flywheel is a bit (3mm approx) closer to the engine now than it was on the Smallblock before. Not the problem. I did lenghten the rod from the clutch slave cylinder and shimed the starter. Latest friday is my roadtest.... ;-)

cool, I'm pretty excited about this! I ended up getting the master and res and pedal and all from the whole conversion. I appreciate the info, I'm getting the MP flywheel and given the new 10.5" clutch included, I'm ready to rock! . Gotta straighten out the ECM situation with the manual now instead of the 545RFE but its all worth it! thanks guys, keep the info coming!

I'll call speed and performance today and see what I need to do computer wise. My unit has the integral transmission controller in it for the 545RFE. I'm guessing I will have to find a computer out of a manual 05 Ram and get them to make my harness accordingly. Anyone have such a ECM around? I have a good 05 computer, full harness and 545RFE if anybody needs it!!
