I took the Valiant out to the auto parts store where I work the other day...and be danged that after 30+ years of being on the roads without a single dent....some yahoo in a F150 backed into it and creased up the front fender next to the headlight !! I was sooooo upset...What other stories do any of you have in regards to such travisties ?
 
some total moron opend the door of his pos eclipse into the door of the waggins' candy n pearl paintjob leaving a small dent and a large amount of red paint at the scene of the crime,I'm not sure how his door got caved in????? I wasn't quite ready to repaint the whole side of the car but I guess it will have to get done soon enough
 
Was at the beach once, parked the car and went walking with the girlfriend. Come back and some loser is doing a line of coke off the trunk of the Dart. Yell at the guy 'Wtf are you doing?' and he responds with 'Well its like we're in the 70's man!' Ah ya I don't think so bud.

Another guy kicked a spot that was bubbling and cracked the paint, and caved that part of the quarter panel in. Claimed he was testing how bad it was.

Holy crap. disgust How far did he have to crawl to find help?
 
Thats why when it comes time to paint, I'm not going to spend a lot of money. People tend to gravitate to old cars and can't keep their paws off of them.
 
my dad always carried hatchet in his 67 Chevelle for assholes like that. needless to say they ended up having worse damage
 
A freind of mine had as 72 Buick Skylark GS keyed along the whole side. He's a pro body and paint guy and had recently finished the car in Gold Kandy, it was the straightest work and best paint job I have ever seen to this day. As you know you can't really fix kandy paint jobs so he ended up redoing it in a regular color. The guy that did that should have been tied to a truck and dragged down a logging road :munky2:
 
People like to rear end my cars. Some lady totaled out my Demon. Another lady hit my dart and dented up the driver side rear valence. They should make a law aganst girls puting war paint on while driving:happy10:

Not my car but in my town theres a nice 69 Charger R/T in Plumbcrazy Purple that some jackass took a key to all the way down one side. If I ever caught someone purposely damaging a car I owned (classic or not) I wouldn't think twice about knocking them the hell out!
 
Had a brand new '74 TransAm years ago that some yahoo keyed down one side from headlight to taillight. Sure wish I'd seen the clown that did it!
Worse than that was the time my ex drove the car to her work, parked waaaayy out in the back corner of the lot, and an asphalt company accidently sprayed the entire top surface (hood to trunk) and one side in hot asphalt. The idiot was going to empty his truck in the field next to the parking lot and was dragging the spray hose along the ground when it flipped over and triggered the spray on the nozzle. My ex was in tears when she called me. Ended up getting a complete new paint job out of that but it was still never the same.
Not a Mopar, but still a really nice car.
