Thanks Scott! We will be there! (me, dad and car...or me and car!!LOL) Oh Billy shares??

Wow, sorry Steve I ddn't see this. You and dad are doing a great job. Looking forward to seeing it. good luck with the breakin'

Thanks Mike! Dad and I are trying to figure out wiring issues...I have this uncanny ability to make very easy fixes very very confusing!!

LOL, I had to post these pics, my young lad Garrett was steering the car and snapped the pic with his phone while we were loading the car on to get the exhaust installed. You can probably guess who I am. The other 3 follically challenged are from left to right my uncles Rick and Ron and my Dad George is on the far right.

Sure feels good to post in this thread, it's been quite a while! Picked up dads fish from storage today, had to move the vette(surprised it started LOL) to get dads fish out. I think the vette moved more out of fear than anything. Dads 67 fired right up...no ticking lifters or anything. I followed Dad and my uncle home, and it ran like a top. Short list of things to do, but very little time to do it.
1. Replace head rests(dads originals will be for sale)
2. Install tach, speedo and radio(out with the bezel...again!!):tard:
3. Set valves
4. Change fluids
5. Drive the **** outta it!! :burnout:(wont be me, I'll be gone):banghead:

Hoping to get this done in the next few days, so its hassle free driving for Pops!

Cheers
Steve

Looks tough from behind! Not your *** Steve! lol.. Your Pops Cuda!

My *** is like boot leather, softer compound on the rubber!! LOL! Thanks Craig, not too often I have been behind it, I think its the first time me following it.

Looks good, Ya make sure you make it to Moparfest, wont be the same without ya!

I know Wally, thanks its gonna be tuff missing it. I gotta see if I can pry the time off from my job..I just know dad wont go on his own....

Steve, check your PM

Thanks John, right back at ya!! LOL

looks like we may need to measure some bolts on that cuda just to make sure all is well with the car *****wink****

dang sweet cuda .....i saw the Colorado plate on the first page......i actually love the fastback look, i have a 67 notchback 383 car but its no where near as nice as the one in this thread .....when i got it there was no engine. but since then i put a 67 440 with the 915 heads in it...the engine had come out of a trashed 67 GTX so its supposedly the HP version and i have a 69 4 speed in it and the one i think is the original one in storage.. ....i have no idea if mine was a formula S ...all the emblems were gone when i got it and someone had replaced the fenders and had put 68 header panel and grilles on it and done a maaco paint job on it.

it all needs finished still the engine needs more assembly to be roadworthy....thats also where the electronic dizzy i got from you went

Nice Rani, me likey very much!! I would say that it being a 383 car, that it is an "S". How much?? Winky winky??

Stopped by dads to tidy up some of the list. Installed the elec choke kit for his Eddy 1405...had bought one from a member on here but it had the wrong shaft...so we went and bought a new one. Dad bought new repop front panels from Legendary last fall, so he started on those. I will post pics of those later.
We got his new headrests installed.
We removed the inst bezel for the umpteenth time! Hopefully this will be the last!! We had to remove as he had both his tach and his speedo refurbished at Mr Heaterbox. Also his am/fm radio that was done by Wards Classic Radio, looks great! We had them add an aux jack to it so Dad could listen to his Ipod.
Also his dash lights were dim, so I bought some LED's and we installed those as well.
Dad installed his new arm rest bases that I got him for his birthday. They look amazing! Front bases arent installed as dad has to finish up the front panels.
Oh we tested the tach 1st under the hood before we installed to make sure it worked, and it does!
Still have to go back before I leave to tidy up a lot of stuff under the dash, set the valves and chk the timing and there is probably more I have forgotten.

Cheers
Steve
