Dan the Man cars ?

-
I'm going with a 1970 - 1972 dart with a 318 or a 360, automatic transmission and ac. Color, no green

and there's another whole set of possible cars set aside. hell, two from this very site even!

i already know "no four door" which is just a shame. a client of mine has a really nice 4dr dart that he was considering selling.

he ain't buyin a fricken car. all those toolmanmike posted are worth the money. AND IN HIS AREA. took him couple weeks/month to go look at the 69 dart that was bout an hr from his house. the 1st excuse on that one was headliner. hopefully he will buy a gm. does the old saying "***** if he was hung with a new rope", fit him? LIKE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN WOULD SAY, HELL YEAH.

I'd like to have a 1970 - 1972 dart, 318 or a 360 with a automatic transmission and ac. No project cars.
Not sure if you've ever had an old car before, but even when they're "done," they still require work. It'll always be a "project." The more you post about your limitations, the more obvious it is that you may just not be cut out for an old Mopar. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I've got plenty of friends who appreciate old cars, but don't have the desire, skills, tools/space, or funds to actually own one and keep it on the road.

What I mean by a project car is one that needs a lot of metal work and paint. I'm pretty good with mechanical work

That's okay. I know what I can do, I've been turning wrenches on and off for 52 years now, I'm not the best mechanic but I'm pretty good at it.
Ask as many questions as you want, that's what this forum for, I don't get the negative comments directed at ya, even if you don't buy a car nothing wrong with that, I'll still try to answer anything to the best I can.

Thanks, I really appreciate that

I agree with that, but I can tell you exactly where the negative comments stem from. He asks questions over and over and over and over again. He doesn't have a Mopar. He constantly throws things back in people's faces they recommend. He cannot be satisfied. He's a mega time waster. You don't see it? Fine then you be his best buddy. I ain't got time for it.

Got ya ! I'm on the prowl now.

I can damn near find anything, old girlfriends to . . . .

Wish now I'd done it all sooner a lot of 'em are now 6' under or Blowin' in the wind.

Each and every drive could be your last. Buy sumpin, be safe and enjoy.

Color preferences, vinyl roof or not ?

Blue is my first choice, but I like red and tan. I don't have to have a vinyl top but I won't pass on a car that has one.

As others have shown me in the past, it is a lot easier to talk than it is to go out, do the work, save the money, than it is to actually go out and lay it on the line and buy a mopar.

What is the fear? Always got my money back out of them. They are hard assets better than the stock market.

There's no fear, just looking for what I want
