I agree, I have a more stock looking radiator, but for now I'd like to make sure that cooling is not an issue and the setup I have in there now has proven reliable in the past.
Will be stunning !View attachment 1715200443 So a very talented friend of mine drew this rendition for me. It's a 1971 Dart convertible. It will have a 426 hemi, with a 4 speed and a shaker hood, Dana, 15" ralley wheels, black top, black paint, black interior, black carpet and a flat black bumblebee stripe. I have a donor convertible that will most likely never be restored as such because it is so far gone. All the "bones" are there to make this a viable project for me. I have an extra hemi block, transmission, lots of sheet metal, wheels, etc. The reason I chose '71 as that was the last year Mopar made a 426 convertible. What do you think?
Outstanding!!! I was planning a Shaker on my 68 Barracuda but went with a new idea, "8 barrel hood" I call it. I think the Shaker looks great on your car. Here's a pic of the only A body Barracuda ive seen.Doesn't look a whole lot different, but the Sniper is in and operational, the interior is in and complete, exhaust is installed, and the to-do list is about a 1/4 a page, the big item being to install the top. I ended up not going with TTI's as I figured out a way to install factory manifolds, and it looks really great.

Won't that minimize the shaking that the shaker hood would show off?I've decide to go with a dual Sniper EFI
Is the interior 67 or 71?Doesn't look a whole lot different, but the Sniper is in and operational, the interior is in and complete
What did you do regarding the rear seats and the side armrests? The interior is a 71 from the dash to the console to the seats
The rear seat was just recovered to match the fronts. The side armrests were repainted to match the interior. The car itself started out life as a 67 convertible. What did you do regarding the rear seats and the side armrests?
I noticed that, very cool. The peak in the middle of a 69 Cuda hood is a natural lead in to the Shaker front point.
STR-14 made a new peak on his hood for this.
Is the interior 67 or 71?
Also I see you have 71 year of manufacturer plates. In Colorado the YOM plate has to be the year of the car (different in CA?). Since your car is a 67 can you use those plates?
Truly awesome. Great vision and execution on this project.
Any pictures out in the open with the white bumblebee stripe?
