They do make those copper washers as shown in a vid someone posted. Get the correct size, insert, tighten and go.

yeah good.Yeah I saw those and got some too.
Hey Doc....are you making double flares on the lines, or single? If you're doing single flares, that may be why it leaks.

Agree , double flairs only , looks like he forgot to de burr before flairing too-------------
It's most definitely a double flare, the outer edges do that little splitting when I don't sand the outer edges at a 45 before putting the 2nd flare in.
I replumbed my whole car with a rolled line from jegs , about 10 yrs ago, didnt put not one split flair in , if they split they aint right , after 50 plus yrs of being a plumber , I think I got this right .
I was going to add, if it leaks, flare it again, sometimes er no, mostly all the time if mine leak, its because I screwed up on the flare job, but yes you do a "double" flare as stated, you use the collet once, then roll the flare tool down on it after.
Yea I'm no plumber and not the best mechanic lol
Looking good! Hope that's the last piece of the puzzle. For now!!
On a side note, does your oldest use a lap belt with her booster? My son is 7 and I'm racking my brain on seat belts for him to ride.
The car looks awesome bud! You should come to va and open a practice. I need a tooth pulled real cheap! Lol
