'97 Crown Vic, owned since '01, 160k miles, have enjoyed it but now it needs some expensive work done so may be time to ditch it, with gas prices about to go up...

04 GT Daily Driver and Tow Vehicle

What can I say? 121k miles--Brakes, tires and 1 license plate bulb.

I own 2 96 fords. A 5.0 explorer (230,000 mi) and a 4.0 Ranger. Aside from little issues, they both have been good.

68 ford pick up 460 (their biggest engine) and a 9in.
69 ford pick up 302 boss with a 9 in.
But my brother fucked the 68 rear end up and fucked up the steering column in the 69.

They are his, but he moved out and left them to my dad, my dad said I can do what I please with them.

Love Ford Trucks.

I grew up a Ford truck guy but always LOVED the Mopar muscle cars.

Plus now that both GM and Chrysler took bailouts, I won't ever buy a new car from them out of principle. I'll hold on to my Dart and stay nostalgic about the good ole days.

I've got...
90 F250 Bucket Truck
2003 F450 Crane Truck
2006 F150 daily driver
86 Mustang GT (purchased in '87)

I've probably have owned over 150 Ford cars, pickups and vans over the last 40 years. My last business I had 26 trucks on the road for 14 years, all Fords.

Acquired this 90 Mustang GT on a trade a couple years ago. Used it for trading stock, to acquire my current 69 GTX tribute, (originally a 69 Sport Satellite 383), project. Also purchased a 95 Escort LX, from a member here, for a first car for my youngest daughter.

I have a 1998 Ford Windstar GL with the 3.8 V6

I owned this 1958 Fairlane 500 many years ago. It had a 352
Police Interceptor with solid lifters. It had 300 h.p.

Fun ride even if it was a 4 door hardtop.

I own a 2000 F350 6 speed diesel crew cab, I bought it a lot more reasonable than the 3500 Dodges were at the time. It makes a great tow vehicle and cruises the road like a champ. Years back, I bought a one owner 63 1/2 Galaxie from the local Toyota dealer, the were going to send it to the crusher. It was too original for me to cut up, so I traded it for 2 64 Sport Furys.

I have a '94 Chateau Club Wagon E150 that I purchased new. It now has about 170,000 miles on it, and runs fine. It's a 5.8L (351)V8, and yes, i t can scat when you put your foot in it, as heavy has it is. It also loves gas, getting about 16mpg hwy.
Before the kids all graduated college and moved out to start their own lives, it used to be our people mover and travel and vacation vehicle.
Still serves us well by allowing me to move personnel for my business, in a great deal of luxury, too boot!

Sadly. My current beater is a '98 Mystique with about 230,000 miles. Little bastard still runs good, needs a tie rod end and a lower ball joint very badly.

Had a few Fords over the years, mostly trucks. Wife had a Focus a few years back and we liked it for a pea shooter mileage beater. Currently have 4 Dodges and am happy with all !

76 Ford F100 Custom 360 engine - engine was a dog but truck was good.
85 Ford F150 Workmate 300 6 cylinder 3 on the floor with bull low- loved this truck
97 F150 4.6- good truck no issues
00 F150 5.4- good truck no issues but got written off after about a year from new
01 F150 5.4 - good truck no issues
05 F250 6.0 turbo diesel - thought I'd give a diesel a try. This was a decent truck but just more truck than I needed so I traded it for a...(wait for it).........................................................................................................................................................................................................................RAM 1500 #-o

Next truck will be a Ferd F-teen Thousand Extra heavy duty.:toothy6:

Im curious -- Do you own a Ford Truck or Automobile?

If so - what model / year
Dad's got a 1965 Ford Falcon we're fixing up. Its got a 170 3 on the tree, I want to build a hotrod 200 and put a t-5 behind it. Or if we find a good deal on an ecoboost engine and tranny from a new F-series truck...

I have a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 turbo diesel. It's been the best truck I've ever owned. I've had it for about 10 years and runs perfect. MMG

I have owneed a couple of Fords in the past. My experiences with those two leads me to think I won't own another......

I have a 90 f250 4x supercab, longbox. 351 and an auto with 355 gears. awesome condition 132000 on the clock. I wont get rid of it for love or money. As long as I can still get parts It will stay in my possesion. It gets 10-16mpg city and hwy, pulls a house, never gets stuck and never fails to start. Every few years I drop $3500 into it looking for something that is old, worn or questionable shape. It gets replaced. Call it preventative maintenance I guess, but it has worked, never left me stranded. This year it is going to get some minor rust repairs and a repaint. At this pace it will be on the road another 20 years! I feel the same as a previous poster....Chrysler and Gm took bailouts, I will never buy from them again. Just keep my old Duster and my old Ford. Cant justify 50k for a new truck to do what this one still does!

07 F-150 Crew Cab. I've had 3 F-150s and 2 Expeditions. (Here it comes) You can't beat the longevity of a Ford truck.
