DON’T BE FOOLED!

Rod, I am not a Social Media person and I don't do Facebook. How can I order a set of your Heads? Can you put your Business Contact Information here for all of us to see? Thanks, Randy
Anyone can pretty much google "Rod Bloomer contact" and figure out how to get a hold of me. I'm in Michigan and want to talk to people interested in what we're trying to do. If, you do call and I can't answer, leave a voicemail and I will call you back.

Thank you,
Rod

If I had the money I'd love to upgrade to this fully ported head and see what it would for on my motor with the twins on it.

I think on turbo type applications, the head is overvalued.
I know a guy who has run 4.70’s in a Dart( think it’s a 71) with just B1BA heads, which are nowhere near as good as these are.
He I believe this year debuted a W8 turbo deal. Not sure what is has run, but my guess is that it isn’t a whole ton quicker.
Big hole, somewhat smaller hole, your still force squeezing air through it big time. How hard you squeeze to me, is more important than the size of the hole, within reason.

And all the bitching over speed master heads and now supposedly their top dog. I see there are many naysayers on the band wagon now. But that’s great for the mopar community. Kim

He has chosen not to put it out.

Big difference between a speedmaster casting, and one prepped and ported by someone who has done years of R&D to make it what it is

“Within reason” is a big qualifier to your statement which is basically true, until you try making big power, (+1000hp or so). Boost is just a multiplier and the more power you make NA the easier it is to make power on boost. So at some point the head is a restriction and needs to be upgraded.

Black Friday is soon. I wonder how many ppl will want to ship their cheap heads to Bloomers to have BES to do their magic on the. I bet the answer will be a hard NO. Kim

That Dart( Fink’s car) I am sure was making WAY north of 1500 horse to the tire with the B1BA heads on it.
1000 horse isn’t much these days. Literally junkyard stock LS stuff with a Chinese turbo is making power like that
That said, I agree with you. Just saying 99.xx% of people with a turbo deal can go way faster than they could dream of, even with non killer heads.

Yea but that’s why junkyard LSs with a turbo make the power they do. The heads are basically factory race heads. Same with gen3 hemi stuff.
Ask your buddy if he’d trade off his B1BA heads for a set of X heads and see what he says. Tell him it won’t matter because he has boost and see what he says.

I doubt very seriously that Vic Bloomer( and Rod) are going to do anything like that, with the stellar work Vic Bloomer put into developing this head. Years, worth, on and off the bench.
And I think the heads they get are complete unmachined blanks to start from. Not what somebody would buy from speedmaster.

Adding to the off topic W8 in a boosted situations it’s the ideal head as the decks are thick and you have the extra head bolts to take advantage of on the correct block.

I wonder if they’re starting with a rough casting? If not I can’t see why they they wouldn’t accept heads being shipped to them.

Just hope some people jump on these and give them a whirl. For the price I’d almost be tempted to get a set and throw them on my old 360 backup mill. Even that junk has gone 10.8 in Vegas with iron heads.

Yes, from what I understand, they are indeed blanks.

I would like to see what they start with. Kim

Mopar guys are also a bunch of cheap bastids. Unlike them, I ain't cheap. I'm broke. Plus, they don't offer a slant 6 head. So there's that.
If you or someone on the board has a junk slant 6 head laying around, I can model something up on the computer that would get you to the point that a machine shop could make it. With modern 5 axis, I suspect I could do it from billet with no castings.

Edlebrock has a head its for the newer 4.0L, thought that bolts on to the older /6 just need the 4.0l intake and exhaust.
