I did it about 8 years ago and the Forum near tared and feathered me for just thinking of the idea... But then I took it to the drag strip and lost a half second... And had great throttle response and the tunnel of ram still resides on my Stroker motor to this day...

I'm a very poor reader. I can't stay focused. When people post more than a short paragraph, I most likely will not read it. A novel book is the worst thing to get me. I would much rather watch a 3 minute video, like the one I posted in 2020 to start this thread LOL

For "awhile" I had a stock Chev intake off a 265 dual quad Corvette, that a friend had had, and "ported" the barrels to match a pair of carb spacers so they would mount larger AFB's. (They came with WCFBs, the tiny little 4 bbls basially same as the old Rochester "4 jet")
There were some TAPERED holes in all of that!!!
