What leads you to believe that???...
And where is your friend PRH to join in casting the doubt on me... Oh yeah and Pittsburgh the budget racer with the $1,800 EFI carb pictured up there and the four-year-old nitrous setup in his spare bedroom...
Good one! And with you in it it would be a 13 second car........At least I’m not building the worlds most expensive 12 second race vehicles. Lmao

and don't forget about your better 60-foot time with all that weight transferring to the back tires..lol...If we both had cars that ran 11.0’s I would probably beat you to the finish line by a second. You test n tuners can’t cut a light worth a darn. Lol.
What I heard was PBR is 1100 lb...lol..Even if you weighed a 100 pounds, and PBR was at 1100 pounds(100 pound, per tenth of a sec.) And it caused him to run a sec slower in your car......Hmmmmm
Now let's just say that this was a True Statement. I'm even more impressed at how Fast his Car is.

Anyways the point of the threat is there's plenty of people that don't know how to tune their carburetors let alone tuning two carburetors that are virtually unheard of running together... Some people just buy a real expensive EFI and let it tune itself..Take it easy on J Par. He’s easily confused. Pssss psssss.
RIGHT!??..
Everything I red and that's on every brand and style dual quad set up I could find on the internet said this was NOT a short road... There is the ONE eight year old article that mentions the holes in the secondary flaps, but absolutely nothing on jetting.. after all the reading and at least 10 tries that I wrote down and at least another five that I didn't I finally have it sorted out for the street...
As far as I know (which ain't much) I'm the only one who has tried this on a tunnel ram...
I'm sure I have more to do on these carbs, but I like where I'm at... a lot!..One thing I have told my sons more times than they care to hear is...
You just have to be more stubborn than what your'e working on, whether its a car or a house...
And then they tell me that when I have computer problems....!!
Plan is to pull the carbs off tomorrow and take out 80 Jets from secondaries and put in 78's in that I have..
My problems: first I'm not sure the air doors are opening all of the way or if they ever will??.. Again the transition feels good.. It feels strong and the plugs are okay... But the AF gauge says still a point or more to rich a wot...
A little hard to tell for sure with the track closed..
I know with the Edelbrocks they recommend going up and down the same jet sizes in the back as the front...
My Guru mind (BIG LOL..) tells me I shouldn't waist my time with the 78's and go straight to the 76's...
What to do....
You know that was my thinking as well and the last time I drove the car I brought the 7/16 wrench and a thin screwdriver to make an adjustment on those.. but of course I have to take the air filters off to watch them. The last time I was out I was just kind of enjoying that the car was running so well, I didn't stop and make any adjustments.. I'm wanting to take the carburetors off anyways for testing the fuel side of my nitrous setup. I have those 78 Jets and I'll put those in.. also on my next test drive I will go ahead and take the filters off and make some more adjustments with the doors before I go any lower on the secondary Jets.. the yellow pollen coming out of the trees is so thick I just don't like running no filters at the moment.. which reminds me I need to clean those k&n filters as well...Am I wrong in thinking that the air doors not opening all the way would richen the secondaries?
I can visually see them from the driver's seat with the air filters off..If you have a go pro or similar, you could stick it to the windshield and take a video of the doors and their position.

I know they do open but they don't like flick wide open..
LOL....So I did my usual and changed three things at once.. LOL...
..
bingo! But again, my mind races to a TQ.My problem is do I want my air doors to cover my lean problem? Wouldn't it be better if air doors open all the way and the jetting was correct? ...
