I think @pittsburghracer ended up having 8 .550 offset rockers made. He had .350s and it wasn’t enough. And w2 stuff was too much.
Yup, too many snowflakes around these parts now.Unfortunately yellow rose isnt allowed to be a member

I don no...Is this going to be on Engine Masters or something?
If he wanted to come back he could do it easily even if banned. I know this because he was banned under “madscientist” & came back as YR. Nothing is stopping him from posting here.Unfortunately yellow rose isnt allowed to be a member

Why bother commenting. There's no skin off your *** either way.oh. so it seems the progression is
madscientist>yellowrose>ratbastid
^ that was my point with my original comment.
On Westech’s dyno it’ll probably make 750.

I followed your moved pushrod E head post start to finish. I was really hoping to see that head on an engine at some point. Any plans to finish them? You are absolutely right. I had some .350 and .550 made and like an idiot went with the .550 because I had to at that point. That was a perfect example of one of my projects that took way to long and several bad decisions were made. I’m probably going to use the .350 off set rockers on my TrickFlows heads.

Just a thought, I once had a new motorcycle with an inline aluminum headed engine that had bronze guides. Had a sucking of oil issue, thought it was obviously coming from the valve seals. Took some real sleuthing to determine it was coming from the outside of the guides as pressed into the heads. The factory installed guides apparently caused fissures in the aluminum guide bores, oil was being sucked by on two intake valves. You Never knowI gotta find out where they were sucking oil from. After two tries I put my other proven set of heads on. (And intake) That was supposedly a brand new Indy intake I bought used and on two engines I had issues with the engine sucking oil. When I pull my 422 apart in going to take some measurements off both intakes.
So what’s the hp limit on the stock 340/360 blocks?I gotta find out where they were sucking oil from. After two tries I put my other proven set of heads on. Any extra prep or mods?I haven’t found out yet.
Sorry, I was thinking it was a head issue not the intake fitmentI still can’t get the thought out of my mind that this intake has done it on two different engines
