Brewer's Performance - Mopar A833 4-Speed Transmission and Component Specialists

It’s a ‘71-‘74 B-body “non-console” shifter, so, yes, it would have been for bench seat cars as they wouldn’t have had a console. The non-console 71-74 B’s used the forward shift pad on the 833’s.

The ‘71-74 B’s that had a center console used the same handle as the E bodies did, and used the rear shift pad on the B/E 833

You’re probably thinking of a ‘70 B body handle.
 
But what shifter is this ? B or e body bucket shifter ? Or a body bench ? What year ? I like it but looks way shorter than I've seen in other a bodies p

As long as it doesn't hit the dash I'm not even sure it has to sit level in neutral just as long as ergonomically it feels good to the driver.
 
Here is a shot of my 73 with the b body non console pistol installed fits great, got it from brewers.
