My wife's car is faster.
My '73 Duster. Currently has a 318-4bbl auto. One day it will be a 340 4spd. Hopefully by next summer it'll be painted. Black with white 340 stripes and the white interior.
That is a clean Duster.

My 73, just rebuilt the front and rear suspension, added a 8.75.
Interior re-fresh and floor pan fix, changed it over to a 4-speed.
Have not touched the exterior at all except for the scoop.
The body work is next.
Just a 318 now but I have a 360 magnum on the engine stand that I am going to build this winter.

They are like 139 bucks each with sliders, they recline also very comfy.
Add their 20 buck aluminum brackets they fit nice.
The rear seat and door panels were done with vinal paint.
The po had a new in the box black carpet in the trunk.
So I have less than $400 in the whole interior.

russduanegreen, your wife's Demon looks a lot like my wife's Demon LOL!
Here's my 71. Started its life as a slant six and was in California for the first 20 years. The second owner put the current 360 crate in it. He did it right. He put an 8 3/4 rear, 833 four speed, ported and polished 302 318 heads, even put the correct k-member on the car. It runs strong and is a lot of fun to drive!
