We now have access to E85 "gasohol" from a commercial pump.
Our new turbo /6 might benefit from the high octane, we're thinking, but we have a couple of questions about this different fuel.
Does anyone have advice about where we could send our Holley 4bbl for modification to run E85 in a blow-thru environment, with the proper mixture at elevated boost levels (25psi+)?
Is there any danger of parts degradation or damage to our fuel system (Walbro external pump; Mallory regulator?)
Will the chemistry of this fuel damage our aluminum half-inch line or fittings?
Any information will be appreciated!!!
