Hi, so kit came in and I have a question(more to follow lol).
Working on Eddy 1405 and I've watched a few(lots) of videos covering different things. One I saw stated the relationship between primary plates and secondary plates. It states that to measure from lip of primary to edge of bore just as the secondaries are starting to open.
The measurement is 13/32". Mine is approx 9/32"(see pic) So 1/8 difference?
I have the Eddy manual and it doesnt mention anything about this adjustment?
Acc pump spring(I think) how do I change that?
Also machine screws for the top, special spot for longer screw?
Thanks
Steve

FWIW, if that adjustment requires bending the rod, I think I'd measure over the tips with a caliper before (JIC).

I would think you'd have to bend or straighten that curved little rod you're pointing at to change the relationship..
Never seen a longer screw???..
The spring it looks like you figured out:lol:

Thanks J, put longer screw in front far pass side hole. Open hole anyway.
Rod took some tweaking to to get choke valve within spec(3/64").
Put new main jets(stock #1428) in as I had those and other new spare parts in a box.

Also a small bend might go a long way.

I like using what you got first and then adjusting from there. I'm not big on buying a complete tuning kit for these as you generally only going to go one way two or three steps at the most.
