Edelbrock performer intake manifold for a 318

i wouldn't dick around with trying to swap over a factory AC set up into an non AC car. just pull the trigger and get a vintage/classic air kit and call it done.

the AC lines would have to be made unless you found some NOS or dead stock ones.

I have a question about the factory air conditioning system. Will the dash controls from a 1970 -1972 dart or duster fit in the dash of a 1973-1974 duster/dart? Heater boxes interchange as well? I was given information on a 1973 dart but no ac and I found a couple of earlier A bodies that have ac and are cheap enough because they are pretty much part cars. With winter time approaching switching from a non factory system to a factory air conditioner system would be a good idea. Also, by chance does anyone know if the ac lines are available or would they have to be made?
here we go again :BangHead:

Only if the car came with a trunk lamp, and left hand lug nuts.

The firewall is slightly different between AC and non-AC cars, mainly for the blower motor and the need for holes for the refrigerant lines to go into the interior.
Easiest to just get a correct kit for the car and be done with it. Why spend money hunting down original parts or having them made when it's not original to the car and will never be correct anyway.
Why ask this on an intake manifold thread?

I don't think that you know what's goin on here. So far none of you so called car guys have answered either one of my questions, perhaps you really don't know. I was given a lead on a dart without ac and I was trying to see if the dash controls from different year's of the A bodies would work, but as usual you guys wonder off the main topic and I believe that this is because you either have a attention problem or don't know.

Link for said car?

Why bother? You guys couldn't answer the questions. I found out that the ac lines have to be custom made as they are not available from any aftermarket source, typical mopar. You guys learned something from me.

It's not a ac change. Please read what I posted, it's a ac installation maybe you don't understand what that means if not I'd be glad to explain it to you. I think that it would be beneficial for most on here to take a reading class so that you can comprehend what your reading. I've noticed that alot of you guys on here have that problem. Also, most on here for some reason have a hard time with staying with what's posted by other members this website would be more helpful to others by this being done.

I'd like to know how you guys restore your mopars when there's very little support from the aftermarket industry?

Lmao, ALL the answers are here on fabo. We aren't here to spoon feed you ****. Just gotta do a search but that's OK there sunshine. You can't even search/source out a car. Lmao. You should slip on over to For Minivan Dunces(Dans) Only. FMDO.com

I've done more research on mopars than you ever will that’s why I pretty much know what is and what's not available for them. I'm thinking that this forum is pretty much useless.

You know that much? You should start a forum. Is it useless? Yeah for minivans related to nutless non mopar owners.
