I have an old WW2 GI issue shaving kit. One of those butterfly "safety" razors that you have to open up and drop an actual razor blade in and then close it all back up. Oh yeah, and I've got the mug, soap, and brush too. I used to use the Gillette Mach III, but the blades got too damn expensive. When you have to pay $20 for four blades that probably cost a buck and a half to make, that's too much! I can get a pack of 10 Wilkinson's Sword blades for under $2. They're inexpensive and last quite awhile. I can get a good month's worth of shaving out of one blade. Granted, I only shave about once a week. The soap costs about $2 or $3 for a cake, and the brush was about $15, but it lasts quite awhile. I haven't bought any shaving supplies for close to a year now, and it's nice! It did take some getting used to, though. When you've been pampered by triple blades and gel "Comfort" strips on your razor for close to 20 years, you almost wonder if it is worth it during that first shave. But you get used to it. And it shaves REAL close!

routine double edge Max everyday, one blade lasts me a week, Hell I could not grow a
mustache till I was 25 years old, I keep a goatee most all the time and can not grow
much of a beard So this is why a razer lasts me so long.
I have seen Ramcharger's beard and herd that he had a full beard by the time he was in the 8th grade...... Pore guy must shave twice a day if he wants a smooth face ..

I tried an electric one once, tore my sack up never again.....aw just kidding.I use foam and blade and to tell you the truth I hate shaving.I remember when I was younger I couldn't wait to get facial hair. Now this every day stuff sucks.

I watched a Co worker take off part of his mustache with an angle grinder because he wasn't holding it right and caught a weld that kicked it up. He turned to me, lip bleeding and a patch of hair missing and without missing a beat I said ill stick to a razor and shaving cream with the straightest face possible.

With my tuff beard I have to use a blade and foam. I found shaving in the
shower with the steamy air. I can get a better shave. I could almost shave
twice a day.
As for my legs- Nothing. I like the natural look. HAIRY!!!:munky2:

I have a Braun and it does a decent job but a blade and foam does a better job. Shaving right after I get out of the shower does the best job. If I need to shave a second time during the day washing my face with Irish Spring and waiting about 3 minutes before putting on the foam works really good. Just a wet face and foam feels like I am shaving with year old blade.

My first, used, given to me by my Grandfather about 1967, who had gotten a new one for Christmas. I ordered new heads and used it for 'while

My Dad used his electric one for 20 years. Every few months he would drop it off at a shop in Denville NJ to get it "tuned up" as he used to call it. I bought him a replacement for it for Christmas one year......he returned it. There was just something about his old one.....

Started off as a teen with a single-blade safety razor and foam, then switched to an electric the first Christmas after I stared shaving. The electric irritated my neck something fierce so switched back to a blace and foam.
Now it's a multiblade setup and foam Monday through Friday due to work. I shave most weekend mornings but will sometimes let it go over the weekend.
Always been clean-shaven - don't know exactly why, but never had a mustache, goatee or beard. Maybe one of these years I'll let it grow to see what it looks like.

Doug ya left out the most important answer:

Shave as seldom as possible
There ya go! I haven't shaved since june and I'm lovin' it!

I go back to school to see all my friends for band functions and I'm the only one of my class(2012) with a beard almost touching his chest.

I shave in the shower with a Gillette 2 blade swivel head and bar soap. I only have to do it every 2 - 3 days. YEY! Can't grow a beard YEY! Don't need to shave my legs, back or chest. :) A blade will last me about a month.

Don't get me started on those who feel they need to shave their chests, lol

I feel like a enough of a girl shaving my face. God must have gave us hairy faces for a reason but cause 99.9% of men shave their faces where I live and shop I just joined in so not to stick out....but likely I still do, ha ha

I don't shave anything. If somebody has a problem with it they can get over it. I figure if God wanted me to have a beard He would have put hair on my face....
