Enclosed Trailer Questions

Just kidding you. A bunch of you guys bought your trailers at the right time. Then there are some of the rest of us like me!!
 
I’d love to upgrade the ole box but I don’t want a nice trailer sitting outside in this environment. I remove the tires about May and store them inside. Only way to keep them to turning to dust in the desert.

I bought this one new last spring , its a very nicely built trailer .. 28 foot long , has most of the normal extras $23,900 .. that same basic trailer in 2018-2019 would of been well under twenty, probally about $18,500ish

Bought this in March of 2019 for around $14,500 brand new. 24'. Same trailer would be well over $20,000 now.
I added the electric jack and winch.

Not sure why you can't see the pic, but its a Haul-About trailer. Got it from Trailers Midwest up in Elkhart Indiana....Just a basic enclosed trailer.

Well, let's see the pics! Haul-About brand is on my potentials list. Otherwise, it will likely be a United.

Does anyone know about the Plexcore paneling as opposed to the aluminum exterior?

How about the Dexter axles - spring/torsion??

Learning as much as I can before I get a sales pitch as to why one is better than the other.

I’m thinking of going to the dealership nearby that sells Discovery trailers exclusively.
It seems they have a 24’ with 5200# axles, basic interior and screwless for $13,700.
Exact trailer in Elkhart IN w/semi screwless is $10,900.
I’m 99.9% sure they’re apples to apples.
The search continues……

What brand and what options did you get?
 
Lightning All Aluminum. 10K axels, 20', dual tails lights, extra hinges on ramp, 56x72 escape door, and a few others. They built to my exact specs as for as door placement for the escape door and man door. Nice thing is that the inner fenders are only 9" off the floor so you can open the door even on a car that sits low, like a Vette. Was NOT CHEAP but it tows great and fits my needs. Will be the last one I buy.
