Yes, B2 is nicer than B5. And less common.
It's not my car yet, I plan to soon purchase it.
For the rear defogger, yes (code H31)
For the map light, I don't know, but probably not as the L05 code isn't present on the fender tag.

Hello Marvin. Here's it. The Demon is at home.
Effectively, the two chrome switches under the dashboard are "Rear defogger" and "Map light".
What does activate the "Map light" switch? The dome light?

No, map light is a small additional light located above legroom right side - to read maps for co-driver

The dome light is activated by turning the headlight switch to the left - additionally when the doors are closed
