hi mate are you a MMAuk memberLiking the 68 Charger with the gas cap 'up high'!
66/67 Satellitte looks good too!
I assume they have a similar 'custom' dark green paint?
Nice collection of 'Green' Mopars indeed...
My 69 Charger is F8 green and my 68 R/T Charger was F8 green too...
I have a 71 GTX also green, but a bit brighter... (limelight)
Looking into getting an early Barracuda for a daily driver.
Must be RHD though as my wife hates sitting 'on the wrong side' lol...
sorry to hear that john nothing worse that selling something you like and would like to keep, done that 3 times the last time i bought it back (the 70 dart). got anysuggestions for an engine builder for the charger as the guy in the states who was building me a 502 if just taking foreverHi Hotrod Guy,
I was an MMA member since the 80's and the MMC before that lol.
Went to the States for a while to work on Mopars and had big plans for a Mopar shop in Kent.
Life and Covid have put paid to that for the 'time being'.
A fellow Moparmate in Ottershaw is looking to move over this way and get something 'off the ground'.
Due to my finances being 'destroyed' in the current environment I have decided to sell My 69 Charger to pay bills.
Hopefully if all things Mopar get back to normal I can get, rolling again lol.
Best wishes from John, Isle of Sheppey Kent.
Hi Marvin, This means nothing to me, Oh Vienna...
More 'Shagged' with that paint job than Shagga...Stone the Crows
We need to know more about these SWISS made Mopars?
72 Demons made in Swissland...
I worked at Warwick Wright Chiswick England where the UK Mopars were shipped into, but they never made any Mopars, just sold 'em...
they're so cheap compared to an 8 3/4 or even a ford 9" it makes good sense, plus with a second short side shaft i've fitted a 295 tyre under the arches (no minitub or spring relocate either).Nice one! Also have the Explorer Axle in mine.
I am based in East London andHi Jon, many thanx for your kind words.
I built a 340 engine and 727 trans for a London friend who had a real nice original green Dart.
Just done a 512ci engine for a London friend also for his 66 Polara, you may have seen it around.
Doing another 512ci for myself to go in the GTX, its the biggest you can build with a stock pan and pick-up.
Most go for the 498ci as it uses stock-size mopar rods, whereas the 512ci uses Chevy rods and 2.200 bearings.
I met a guy who has Jensen interceptor also doing a 512ci but made the mistake of buying flat tops! (oops 11.5 to 1)
Been there done that and it always ends badly with pump-gas, wrecks the pistons and bearings in a heartbeat...
I have a couple of spare 440 blocks here if you want me to do something for you?
Best wishes from John Sheepey
