Liking the 68 Charger with the gas cap 'up high'!
66/67 Satellitte looks good too!
I assume they have a similar 'custom' dark green paint?
Nice collection of 'Green' Mopars indeed...

My 69 Charger is F8 green and my 68 R/T Charger was F8 green too...
I have a 71 GTX also green, but a bit brighter...:D (limelight)

Looking into getting an early Barracuda for a daily driver.
Must be RHD though as my wife hates sitting 'on the wrong side' lol...:mob:

hi mate are you a MMAuk member
cars sound cool any pics

Hi Hotrod Guy,

I was an MMA member since the 80's and the MMC before that lol.
Went to the States for a while to work on Mopars and had big plans for a Mopar shop in Kent.
Life and Covid have put paid to that for the 'time being'.
A fellow Moparmate in Ottershaw is looking to move over this way and get something 'off the ground'.
Due to my finances being 'destroyed' in the current environment I have decided to sell My 69 Charger to pay bills.
Hopefully if all things Mopar get back to normal I can get, rolling again lol.

Best wishes from John, Isle of Sheppey Kent.

sorry to hear that john nothing worse that selling something you like and would like to keep, done that 3 times the last time i bought it back (the 70 dart). got anysuggestions for an engine builder for the charger as the guy in the states who was building me a 502 if just taking forever
regards jon

Hi Jon, many thanx for your kind words.
I built a 340 engine and 727 trans for a London friend who had a real nice original green Dart.
Just done a 512ci engine for a London friend also for his 66 Polara, you may have seen it around.
Doing another 512ci for myself to go in the GTX, its the biggest you can build with a stock pan and pick-up.
Most go for the 498ci as it uses stock-size mopar rods, whereas the 512ci uses Chevy rods and 2.200 bearings.
I met a guy who has Jensen interceptor also doing a 512ci but made the mistake of buying flat tops! (oops 11.5 to 1)
Been there done that and it always ends badly with pump-gas, wrecks the pistons and bearings in a heartbeat...:realcrazy:
I have a couple of spare 440 blocks here if you want me to do something for you?
Best wishes from John Sheepey

Nice Car Wild ONE!

Four door cars are back in fashion, especially A-body Mopars!
I remember putting a 383ci-727 in my 1969 RHD Barracuda rag-top, was sure a 'wild ride' lol...:drama:

I have old friends in Duisburg and family in Pocking too.
Nice to see German/Swiss Mopars in such great condition.
English Mopars are always full of rust and filler lol...:welcome:

Hi Marvin, This means nothing to me, Oh Vienna...:thankyou:

More 'Shagged' with that paint job than Shagga...Stone the Crows:lol:

We need to know more about these SWISS made Mopars?
72 Demons made in Swissland...

I worked at Warwick Wright Chiswick England where the UK Mopars were shipped into, but they never made any Mopars, just sold 'em...

Next step : replacing my aftermarket radiator with an original '71 Chrysler one.

Polyjohn
I am looking for someone to build me a 440 if that is something that you could help with
Thanks

Wow Mark, didn't expect anyone here in the UK to want a 440 lol...

They come in many variations from wheezy late model truck to 500+hp looney tunes!

What car do you have and what are you going to use it for (if you don't mind me asking)?

I ran 10.44 in my Dart with an all iron 440 and probably would have run a nine with some NOS!
Not a street/strip engine just 13 to 1 with Rob Loaring heads etc...

Do you have your own engine or are you starting from scratch?

best wishes from Kentish john.

Nice looking set-up there Neil!

Always liked a tunnelram and dual carby's too.
My mate ran one on his 440ci GTX for years, back when gas was still in gallons...

Did you sell the Valiant?

Love the colour of this 68 Charger!

Its the same as my 1964 D200 truck...
Gonna be fitting in a 413 and manual five speed soon.
Wanna do something different for the STRIP lol...

Nice 68 Charger.jpeg

Not as mad as the Northern boys lol...
