Wow I don't read all these threads and now I find out about this Tony. I pray for both of you that your operation goes very well and you feel better than new!

Hope for your recovery
Went to see another Doc today. Surgery is set for May 5th at
08:00 am at The Indiana Heart Hospital in Indy on Shadeland
Ave.
It will not be done in Cleveland. Dr. Storey at the Heart Hospital will
do the surgery. After extensive research he found very little info
on surgeons that have done this procedure. He said my case is very
special and there are very few of us with this condition. He looked me
straight in the eye this morning and told me I had two choices. Number
one is that I can have nothing done...not a good outcome. Number two
is to have the surgery. At this time he said he has no idea of the outcome.
He said what we are getting ready to do is very dangerous. After they
get inside and see the heart he is hoping there is still some "clean"
muscle left. He is hoping that the scar tissue hasn't taken over everywhere.
Needless to say I'm a little scared right now.
I have a positive outlook but I know how risky this is so I'm going
to make a list of things that need to happen to the cars and things
around the house.
Please say another prayer.

Thanks for keeping us informed at this time in your life Tony! Oddly, the older I get, the harder it seems to finds the words to say in these situations. I marked down your surgery date, and Linda and I will be full on with our prayers and thoughts on that day. Along with the FABO family, we're confident of a positive outcome...
