Just had a small block shipped from Denton Texas to Goshen (northern) Indiana. Dropped off in Denton on Monday got it on Friday for $171 outstanding very pleased.

Nice! I tried having a fender shipped and they wouldnt due to it being a cosmetic piece.
You went thru Fastenal logistics?

They also won't take oversized pallets.

2 years ago they lost a pallet (k member) and it was a process foe them to find it but they did. And the branch manager blew me off ad I wanted a discount so I went up the ladder. Who ever I spoke with refunded all shipping cost and apologized for the branch manager. He only asked I recommend them and I always do. Things happen and it got worked out.

Secure your products to the pallets like it's going off a cliff. Clearly mark dp not double stack and if possible make the pallet unique say for example flourescent coloring on the wrap or whatever you can. Take some pictures before it hits the dock.

I shipped a new fiberglass Hemi hood from Chicago to New York and had no issues with oversized freight through 3PL. I did have to package it in a large box and used lots of foam and bubble wrap, but it came through just fine and they even gave me the pallet to put it on! I always recommend Fastenal!

I’ve never use Fastenal freight. Do you just drop off package at any fastenal branch or just certain ones accept?
I assume you set it up first on on line.

I was going to ship a 4 wheeler framer to Calif. , but they wouldn't ship to Cal. out of Tulsa -------??????????

That's interesting. I had a pile of metal sent from the midwest a few months and brought to the east coast but they would not ship it due to the pallet size (40"x70" I believe.) Maybe someone had bad coffee that morning when I was declined lol...
