It a great time saver from the labor intensive weld and grind routine. I know of one person that had a slight variation from the designated advance on plate to actual advance observed. Who knows what the actual culprit was, lots of moving parts there. Not a big deal as advance can be checked hillbilly style on a bench with a degree wheel and zip tie/straw...
