Hope you get better soon. Car is looking awesome. Not sure if your still trying to make it to the fling but would love to see it in person.
 
Man, you have my sympathy on the kidney stone. I had one in December 2017 and it was the worst pain I've ever had.

On the car, the garbage just keeps gettin piled up. lol It's badass man. I'm glad you stuck to it all Mopar too!

I'm still trying but im making no promises on it. Doing my best to get rested so I can jump back on it.

Yeah it wasn't a fun night at all. I learned morphine does absolutely nothing for me. I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.

A kidney stone will drop the toughest of us. Those little bastards hurt like nothing else. Next time ask for dilaudid. That will drop the pain. Oh, there will probably be a next time.
 
Man somehow I missed all of your updates. So sorry to hear about the stones. I watched my dad go through it for a few years. Miserable. If you need anything I’m right around the corner. You have my number. Get well.

They went as far as fentanyl around 3am to try and kill the pain. Id say I went to about a 5 on the pain scale after that. This morning kicked my *** again pretty good. Trying to stay positive and tinker on the car but being out of work and in pain is killing the spirit a bit.

I appreciate it Mike, definitely not something I'd wish on anyone to feel. Giving it a solid 35% chance of taking the car, was cutting it close but this is putting it off some more.
 
Was feeling decent-ish, got the majority of the wiring finished up. Need to make a short lead from the cut off switch to the battery, and hook up the fender mounted turn signals then thats all the wiring. List on the hood is getting shorter, and I think thats everything. Should have a fair bit of the list covered this weekend as long as the kidneys cooperate.

ugh, been there done that more than a few times on the kidney stones. not one was fun....... I drink a gallon of water a day minimum now.
 
Apparently I forgot a license plate light when I rewired the car. But this is a small win, hopefully followed by a big win soon.

Haven't fired it quite yet. Have a small list of stuff to do till I fire it. Gonna pick some stuff up tomorrow.

Itll stay there until I fix/paint the hood. So probably another year or two haha.

Lol...yep not cool but what my urologist told me after my first one. For some reason once you have one you are prone to getting them.

Of course now that I shot my fool mouth off I’ll probably get one. I suppose that would be justice for my earlier reply wouldn’t it???

I keep getting a nice tickle of pain that I had Sunday. Been off and on the last few days, today is no exception. Hopefully you don't get another cause these suck.
 
Found an upper rad hose thatll actually work. No idea what it's off, cant find my hose clamps. Put a 6psi spring in the gate, gonna hook a couple lines up, should have the rest of my fuel system stuff this week. I've decided if it doesn't run by this next coming weekend it won't be going to the fling. Been throwing too much money at this thing. Ill post again next weekend and itll either be the car going down the road or itll be me admitting defeat.

To everyone who's followed along, I appreciate it.

Had a whole mess of issues getting the ignition box to stay connected to the laptop. Finally got it sorted out, filled the bowls and tried to run it.

Have my suspicions on what the issue is. Gonna try to yank the valve covers off it sometime this week and go from there. Not giving up quite yet. Took next Friday off of work as a last ditch effort just incase.

Sounds pretty bad *** for garbage. Can’t wait to see your permasmile the first time it goes past 0 vacuum.
