well, this was a 4 month project for a good friend. origionally it was a 3k labor job, but then i had to do a frame off, and had toput a total new floor in the bed of truck.
in the end, we agreed on 4,600.00 in labor, as the bed took as long as the rest ofthe truck!.
he has almost 5k into new parts for engine rebuild, paint and materials. other things included all new brakes, lines, interior pieces.

over all, this truck turned out great. we know it will never be a money truck, but the sentimental value on it superseceds what he put into it.

enjoy...............................

next up is a 70 fc7 340 4 speed numbers dart, a 54 customline ford, a 70 torino, or a 69 f100, or a65 chevy fleetside shortbed.....................not sure yet.lol

Damn, that looks good Plot! Nice work and nice to see you guys came together on the price. Doesn't sound like you are short of projects there!

yea, thanks guys!. i usually stick with the mopar restos', but i got to take any work i can get.lol plus, this is why i can never keep an old ride. i have the passion and drive to do the resto, and "test drive" it for a few days, then give it back.
most think i flip cars for the money, but some do see and know by my quality of work, and prices, that i feel better when someone else gets there dreams fullfilled to have an old ride. they cannot do the work themselves, so i get to take that role. yes, i do make money, but i do not charge shop fees. lukily if i make 10.00 per hour, i would be lucky. that is with me suppling the electric, kero for heaters, and usage of all my equipment, and i have to pay when something breaks

nice job, looks great, they got thier moneys worh and then some....

awesome job joe i really like how you spent the extra time and polished all the crome and aluminum.

Nice work i'll keep you in mind when the time/finances come for my cuda,i'm midway thru my sons Charger and i have a newfound respect for restorers in our hobby and i ain't doin another [i hate doing body work]. I like the mechanicals/interior better than the body work that is an art and im impatent at best.

Great Job 340plot Looks outstanding There was a blue and white 64 truck like that at George Rays that would show up almost every strongend and give me fits he had a warmed up little V8 292 automatic that pulled me a full 1/2 a truck length out of the hole
That truck hooked up real good and the old guy drove it to the track.
That is a great looking ride, brought back some good memories seeing it .

Good job well done Joe! That looks very nice and might give some of us members(like me) some inspiration to get our truck projects done.
