Flip top gas cap on a 68 Barracuda

Has anyone put a flip top gas cap on a 68 Barracuda? A friend ordered one for a 69 because he liked the look of the black center but the ring is different and too big for the 68's I see they are listed different in the catalogs. The 69 Barracuda one also fits the 69 and 70 Charger. Are the caps all the same just the trim rings are different? Thanks, tmm

Huh, I always thought they were the same size, 67 thru 69, just the design on the cap was different in 69. What do you mean by, too big? Too big for what? The fender contour didn't change.

67 and 68 has the swirl polished center and 69 has the black with the fuel on it. No trim rings are used on the Barracuda. The trim ring was for a B-Body that also used the same caps as the A-Body.
